Why it lasts
Two different lasers, two different results
Most engraving shops run a diode or CO2 laser. Those are excellent on wood, leather and coated tumblers — that's what we use them for. But on bare metal they can only mark what's sitting on the surface.

Burns or removes a coating. Perfect for powder-coated drinkware, wood, leather patches and acrylic — and that's most of what we make.

Fiber
Into the metal itself
A fiber laser works at a wavelength metal actually absorbs, so it engraves, anneals or etches the substrate directly. The mark is part of the part.

Fine enough for a crest and its motto
These stainless graduation medallions carry a full seminary crest — quartered shield, crown, menorah and open book — with the Greek motto and a scripture reference small enough to sit inside it. That's the resolution the fiber laser holds on bare metal.
It's the same setup behind a scannable QR code on a business card and a serial number small enough to tuck under a bolster.

What to expect
- Materials
- Stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium and anodized surfaces. Also coated and powder-coated metal, where we mark through the coating to the bright metal underneath.
- Artwork

Vector files work best —
.svg,.ai,.eps,.pdf. We can also work from a high-resolution.pngor.jpg, and we'll redraw a rough logo if that's all you have. - Your own items
- Bring or ship us the piece — we engrave customer-supplied items regularly. Tell us about any coating, plating or heat treatment first, since it changes how the metal takes a mark.
- Quantities
- One piece or a production run. Bulk pricing usually starts around a dozen, and repeat runs are cheaper once the file is set up.
- Proofs
- You approve placement, size and finish before the laser touches anything. On customer-supplied items that step isn't optional — engraving can't be undone.
- Turnaround
- Most jobs go out within a few days once artwork is approved. Tell us if you're working to a date and we'll confirm before you commit.
A note on firearms. We engrave accessories and components as a cosmetic and identification service. We are not an FFL and do not manufacture, transfer or serialise firearms. Anything that legally requires a licensed party needs to go through one — talk to us and we'll tell you where the line is.
